Michael David Fouts, 57, of Oceanside, California passed away in March of 2026. He was born February 7th of 1969 at Balboa hospital in San Diego, California to David Fouts and Lois weisler he grew up in California and Green Forest Arkansas where he built many lifelong memories. Michael worked as a truck driver, a career that reflected his love of the open road. He enjoyed traveling and spending time at the sand dunes riding his side-by-side making the most of every adventure.

He is survived by his children Matthew Fouts(Geani Waterson), Michael Fouts, Toni Smiley(James Smiley), Derek Hale(Dillon Hale). His grandchildren Caleb, LaDarian, Bentley, Chandler and Harper. His father David Fouts (Holly Fouts) and his brother Timothy Fouts; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lois weisler and his grandparents

Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the many memories he created with those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition, in lieu of flowers the family is asking that all donations be made to Make A Wish Foundation in his memory for his granddaughter Harper smiley who is battling Systemic Idiopathic Onset Juvenile Arthritis.
